- Want to learn how to train for a duathlon?
- Come join us every Tuesday from March 9-April 19, 2010 at 4 p.m.
- Learn the ins and outs of training and participate in educationals and groups workouts!
- For just $12 receive weekly programs and a t-shirt!

State Fitness Challenge

- You’re invited to participate in a week long fitness challenge, February 15th – 21st, 2010. Log all minutes of physical activity from February 15 – February 21. The University with the most minutes of physical activity logged earns bragging rights!!! The event is open to all students, faculty, staff, and alumni (must be a member of your fitness center).

Beginner Weight Training Program

Meet in the Oasis
- Interested in learning the basics of weight training?
- Join us on Monday or Tuesday for an interactive session on learning the Cybex Equipment!
- Join us Wednesday or Thursday for an interactive session on using free weights!
- This program is completely free of charge! All you have to do is come to the Oasis on a day and time that works for you! You may attend as many sessions as you would like.

Health Fair and Fitness Fair

- Screenings for blood glucose, grip strength, grip strength, oral cancer, body fat percentage and blood pressure will be available
- Pick up information on heart disease prevention, and healthy eating!
- Ask the Campus Recreation personal trainers questions about fitness and sign up for free services.
Duathlon*
Saturday, April 24, 2010 - 8:30 AM
Spencer Student Recreation Center
- Check-in at 7:30 a.m., Race begins at 8:30 a.m.
- Individual and Team divisions
- Mandatory participants meeting Wednesday, April 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the Spencer SRC Keeney Room
- Participants can register in the Campus Recreation Office between Friday, February 26 and Wednesday, April 21, 2010.
- Race includes a 3 mile run, 7 mile bike and 1 1/2 mile run.
- Participants must register in the Campus Recreation Office and attend the participants meeting
- Medals awarded to the top male and female participants and the top teams.
